The Nest is a bright and airy, studio apartment that can sleep up to 2 guests. Situated on the first floor, you will find an open-plan living and cooking space including a double bed area with a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave, fridge and plenty of utensils. If you’re tired after a day on the fells, sink into the settee whilst catching up on your favourite programme with the smart TV. Central heating, air conditioning, bed linen and towels are provided and the cottage has Wifi throughout. Enjoy the use of the outdoor patio seating, including barbeque whilst enjoying the views of the farm. The Nest is self contained and is accessed from the ground floor front door, where there is space for coats and outdoor footwear before going up the staircase to the accommodation.
Don’t forget to take a piece of Blakebeck home with you. With free range farm eggs from the hens, homemade jam, marmalade and honey all able to be purchased from the Farmhouse, with proceeds going to the local Winter Warm.

There is one bathroom with a shower cubicle, toilet & hand basin.
What’s provided in the kitchen?
Hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, sink, utensils, crockery, tea towels & washing up liquid. A dining table & chairs to seat 4 is also provided.
Are bed linen & towels provided?
Yes! Towels & bed linen will be provided on arrival.
Is there a washing machine or dishwasher?
There is a dishwasher in the Kitchen. We also have a shared washing machine you’re more than welcome to use.
Do you have Wifi?
Yes! Wifi is available throughout the cottage.
Is there a BBQ?
A BBQ can be provided on request.
Is there any parking?
Yes. There is space for one car by the cottage.
Do you provide a highchair or cot?
A travel cot, highchair and stair-gate are available on request, please mention at the time of booking.
Do you allow dogs on site?
Unfortunately we do not allow dogs within The Nest. However we do have 2 dog friendly cottages on site, check them out here.
